3M™ Solar Acrylic Foam Tape is a general purpose double sided foam tape consisting of 100% acrylic adhesive. Typically used in the wind and solar industries, this tape offers environmental and high-temperature resistance, making it suitable for permanent outdoor bonding of solar panels, solar mounting rails and wind turbine blade attachments.

The 3M foam tape technology in 3M™ Solar Acrylic Foam Tapes helps industries replace use of liquid adhesives and mechanical fasteners in permanent bonding and sealing applications. Due to its viscosity the adhesive can flow into the surface and conforms to irregularities of substrates. It does not harden over time, but remains flexible for durable long term bonding. This viscoelasticity also gives the foam energy absorbing and stress relaxing properties. The 3M™ Solar Acrylic Foam Tape provides immediate holding strength with no cure time and can be custom die cut into virtually any shape.
