3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin 4 GS is a 2-part, epoxy-based, CMR-free electrical resin for cable splicing, up to 1 kV application. The unique 3M formulation changes colour after the two components of the resin have been correctly mixed. The resin has an enhanced humidity performance during the curing process, and it is supplied with an innovative delivery spout integrated to the resin bag for easy and clean application.

3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin 4 GS is a general-purpose premium electrical resin supplied in a two-component bag. A bag opener is included. After the yellow and blue components have been mixed the resin turns into a homogeneous green colour, and the colour becomes darker green when the resin is cured. It is suitable for the electrical insulation and mechanical protection of electrical splices for application up to 1 kV. The 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin 4 GS meets IEC 60455-3-8 requirements and is compliant with EU directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and EU directive 1907/2007/EC (REACH), guaranteeing the highest grade of electrical insulation for professional and safe application.
